Coxinha in Fitchburg: chicken, Catupiry or beef ribs?
A coxinha is easy to recognize: a pointed top, a golden crumb coating and a savory filling tucked inside. If you have never tried one, start with the filling you already enjoy. At Meritíssimo, the menu gives you three different ways to do that.
Three fillings, three different bites
Chicken Coxinha is the straightforward choice: seasoned shredded chicken inside a breaded shell. Coxinha Catupiry adds creamy cheese to the chicken filling. Beef Ribs Coxinha takes another direction, with shredded beef ribs, Catupiry and cream cheese. These are separate menu items, so check the name when ordering rather than asking for “the coxinha” and leaving the filling to chance.
A quick snack or part of lunch?
For a quick stop, a coxinha and a drink can be enough. For a fuller meal, explore the plate lunches instead of assuming a snack comes with rice or sides. Our menu separates salgados from prato feito, making it easier to choose the kind of meal you have in mind.
For a party, ask about the minis
The menu also lists a six-piece mini salgados mix and a 50-unit salgados option. A mixed snack order is different from ordering full-size coxinhas. Tell us whether the snacks will be a welcome bite or the main food, and whether you want chicken only or a selection. We can confirm the available mix before preparing a group order.
Taking coxinha home
Choose a pickup time close to when you plan to eat. For a larger order, speak with the team before checkout so preparation and pickup fit your plans. If someone has a food allergy, ask about the filling and preparation; the name of a snack does not describe every ingredient.
